Here is a list of the current/ongoing projects for AAuRA, this will be updated as new projects are added/started.
ASIAN AUSTRALIAN RAINBOW ALLIANCE (AAuRA)
- Creating safe yet powerful platform for the Asian Australian LGBTIQ community to discuss their issues as well as create projects which can be advocated on;
- AAuRA event to emphasise on the importance of Asian Australian LGBTIQ voices and why these voices are unheard/invisible within the Asian Australian/mainstream Australia and mainstream Australian LGBTIQ community;
- Creation of a media platform in 2020 just for Asian Australian LGBTIQ voices;
- Mentoring the next generation of LGBTIQ Asian Australian youth;
- Continuation to work on advocacy around “Safe Schools” and all LGBTIQ Parliamentary/consultation groups AAuRA is apart of;
- Expansion of AAuRA to other states;
